Cellulite Tips: Happy Holidays!!!

Are You Ready?!!!

It's finally "that" time of year.  No matter what holidays you celebrate or don't celebrate, this is a time of year when food is everywhere and we are in social situations that can cause excessive consumption of food.

Remember, cellulite is fat.  It's a special kind because it is caught between connective tissue that causes a bumpy appearance, but it is still fat just the same.

If you over do it during the holidays, your cellulite will get worse.  I'm not asking you to give up some of your favorite holiday treats, just go easy.

Here are some tips to help you out:

-Plan ahead.  If you're reading this now, then you know where you are going for food and celebration.  Decide before you get there that you will only have a couple of bites of the extra caloric options (you know what they are!).

-Stay hydrated.  We often confuse hunger with thirst.  The centers for both of these urges is located in the same part of the brain, so be sure to drink lots of water.  If you plan to consume alcoholic beverages, try to follow them with water.  This could help your hangover too! (This is not intended to be medical advice, just an observation).

-Keep Moving.  Did you know that fidgety people burn more calories and stay leaner then their more stationary counterparts?  I'm not telling you to start twitching as if you have a neurological disorder, I'm just suggesting that you get up off the couch and keep moving.  If music is playing and the mood hits you, dance around a bit.

-Fit in 10 minutes.  Try to get 10 minutes of exercise in.  It can be cardio as described in the first tip or some of the exercises suggested in later tips or from the full "Conquer Your Cellulite" course.

You can still have a great time during the holidays while staying with your program for reducing cellulite.  Please continue to visualize your perfect, cellulite-free body.

Good Luck and Enjoy the Holidays!
