EAT RIGHT FOR CELLULITE
Diet plays an important role in getting rid of cellulite. Reducing one's caloric intake is helpful because
this will increase the loss of bodyfat. Cellulite is composed of fat caught between bands of connective tissue. Lose some fat and you
lose some cellulite.
Hormones may also play a role in the development of cellulite. If you retain water, your cellulite will look
worse.
There are foods that affect your hormones and make you retain water. Salty foods or foods high in sodium
will make you retain water.
Here's a short list of "dos" and "don'ts" to help you rid your body of cellulite:
 |
Stay away from white sugar. White sugar seems to
be a magnet for the fat that makes up cellulite. This has not been proven scientifically but it appears to be so. |
 |
Eat lots of fiber. You can get fiber into your
diet by eating whole fruits and vegetables and whole grain cereals and breads. The fiber will help regulate your digestive system and
keep you full. |
 |
Be sure to check the sodium content on the foods
that you eat. Processed foods tend to contain lots of sodium. Snack foods also have a high sodium content. |
 |
Drink lots of water. This actually help you to
retain less water, therefore decreasing the appearance of cellulite. |
 |
Spice up your food. The added heat will "heat" up your body and make you feel more full.
It's not always easy to eat right. It helps to have a plan for your day and week in order to
stay on track. Look ahead into your schedule for days where you may want to indulge and skimp a bit a couple of days
before.
Try slowing down and giving that fork or spoonful a good look before eating it. Ask yourself
if it's really what you want. Ask yourself how badly you really want to get rid of the cellulite on your body.
