Learn How To Activate Your Fat Burning Muscles And Get Rid Of Cellulite
Most women have cellulite which is fat that is caught between connective tissue and all of them would like to get rid of it. Even though cellulite is stubborn and difficult to get rid of, it can be reduced by a number of different methods. In order to get rid of it for good, a person needs to take a Lifestyle Approach which includes exercise, proper diet, anti-cellulite treatments and the power of the mind-body connection. Exercise is extremely important in the war on cellulite. If you use a treatment that works, you still need to exercise to keep your cellulite away. Here are some great ways to activate the muscles in the areas of your body that have cellulite.
Cellulite is usually found on the hips, thighs, buttocks and legs. It just makes sense that if the muscles in those areas are well developed (toned) then those areas will look better. There are two types of exercise: aerobic and anaerobic. The word aerobic means with oxygen. It is sometimes interchanged with cardiovascular exercise. Cardiovascular exercise is very beneficial in burning fat. It can be done at a variety of intensities. Anaerobic exercise consists of but is not exclusive to strength and conditioning exercises. Both anaerobic and aerobic exercise can help to burn fat, tone muscles and reduce cellulite.
As stated, aerobic exercise can be done at both high and low intensities. If you are mostly doing lower intensity exercise, it's a good idea to switch things up and try some high intensity aerobics. NOTE: This DOES NOT necessarily mean high impact, just high intensity. The intensity refers to how hard you are working in terms of oxygen consumption as estimated by your heart rate. An easy way to measure intensity is by using the Talk Test. The Talk Test means that you are working so hard that you can't sing but you can still talk. The cellulite burning exercise in this example is at the very high end, so you barely have enough wind to talk.
There are a variety of modes that you can try this with. If you are going to run or jump, be sure to wear supportive footwear and be aware of the surface that you are doing your activity on. One example of super fat burning aerobics is walking or running up and down hills as fast as you can. Walking is much lower impact. Power it out as hard as you can and focus on your posture and the muscles that you are working. Also stay aware of your breathing. For those of you who use a stationary bike, try sitting on a recumbant bike for back support and pedal as hard as you can, really focusing on your muscles in your backside and legs.
There are a variety of other modes of exercise to try this with. There are also some great anaerobic movements for blasting cellulite as well. If you have not been exercising at all, work up to this. It's a great idea to "shock your body" and get your fat burning energy going. This will help you to reduce cellulite and keep it off.
